FAQs

What level of care do you provide?

Homestead Estates provides assisted living services in a residential home setting for seniors who benefit from help with daily routines. Our caregivers support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), medication administration by certified staff, meals, and general supervision in a comfortable, home-like environment. Care services are provided in accordance with each resident’s individualized service plan.

Do residents need to bring personal care supplies?

In most cases, no. We provide commonly used personal care items for residents, including basic hygiene supplies. If a resident prefers specific brands or specialty products, families are welcome to provide them.

Do you support residents experiencing memory loss or cognitive changes?

Some residents may experience mild cognitive changes that are common with aging. Our caregivers provide structured routines, reminders, and supportive supervision as appropriate. Residents are admitted based on an individual assessment to ensure the level of care provided is appropriate for the home environment.

What is the move in process?

The move-in process begins with an initial assessment to ensure the home is an appropriate fit for the resident’s needs. Required documentation and a personalized service plan are completed prior to admission. We guide families through each step to help ensure a smooth and comfortable transition.

What is included in the monthly rate?

Our monthly rate includes housing, meals and snacks, housekeeping and laundry, supervision, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in each resident’s individualized service plan. Medication administration by certified staff is also available when needed.

Additional services may vary depending on the resident’s level of care.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Homestead Estates is a private-pay assisted living residence and does not participate in Medicare or Medicaid programs. Families are welcome to contact us to learn more about our services and current pricing.
